Rasiya

Jaleel, a corrupt police inspector, who just served a jail term for the alleged murder of his daughter’s boyfriend has now been charged with the murder of his political master Karunan. 

The upright Circle Inspector in charge suspects foul play. Madhavan, the professor and the mentor of Jalee’s estranged daughter Rasiya, tries to persuade her to take up the case as no competent lawyer would take up the case. Will he succeed?

The play unfolds as described by Prof Madhavan in his book based on the incident, which examines the idea of justice in a world of inequality. The play builds suspense from the very first scene hitting climax with a dramatic court scene.
